Vans Duct Tape Invitational

The VANS Duct Tape Invitational will be the second stop on the 2022 Longboard Tour. The Longboard competition will host 20 surfers for the men's division and 20 surfers for the women's division. Each field will be made up of the Top 10 from the 2021 rankings, seven surfers selected from the regions, one WSL wildcard, and two event wildcards.

As the second stop on the 2022 Longboard Tour, the VANS Duct Tape Invitational will award 5,000 points in the WSL Longboard World Title race as part of the three-event season. World-class talents such as reigning Duct Tape Invitational winners Kelis Kaleopa’a (HAW) and Justin Quintal (USA). This event will play a major role in the Longboard World Title race leading up to the final event in Malibu, the Longboard World Championships, which will be held during October 3 - 13, 2022.
